DivX and FL - can they coexist?

At the moment i am re/uninstalling divx then the wma8/9 files every time i want to play FL or watch a divx.
I know its not much of a hassle but does anyone hav a less messy solution to this problem?

im not sure but my pc runs fine with divx... but then again i do have problems with windows media player unable to get some sounds especially after installing divx player..
