Loading Screen Crashing

The beginning cinamatic finishes, and then a see the laoding screen (with the two planets and "FREELANCER"

, and the game crashes to desktop. This started to happen after I deactivated the latest version of Reynan's mod.

I haven't treid reinstalling the game yet because I'd rather not lose my saved games. Where are the saved games saved to? And will reinstalling delete the saves?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the exact same problem. You can choose to delete the saved games or not, but I would recommend saving them yourself to another folder...they are in My Documents > My Games > Freelancer > Accts (i think) > and it should list them ALL there. I've tryed reinstalling, uninstalling then installing, nothings has worked for me...now instead of it crashing on the "Freelancer" screen with the planets, it freezes right after I launch it, the screen just goes black and doesn't respond to any commands so I have to restart it...I COULD REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY USE SOME HELP!!

Hi,

I had the exactly the same problem the first time I installed the game. I reinstalled it and it works now.
