Game crashes if left or during cut scenes but not in space.
The game keeps crashing my computer if I leave it alone for a while or, even worse, during cut scenes.
This happens especially in the bar.
It never happens in space, fortunately.
I’m using DirectX 9.0a which others seem to have no problem with.
Also, I have a ATI Radeon 9700 pro running the 9800 drivers with no problems.
I wonder if it may be this, but well, no other games are giving me any jip.
512Mb RAM, P4 2.4Ghz, Win XP,
I’ve turned off 3D sound to no avail.
It happens in single player and even more frequently in multiplayer.
It’s damn frustrating.
Has anyone got any ideas or experienced it themselves?
I’m going to try downgrading my Radeon drivers again to the official 9700 pro ones but I don’t really think it’s this. Is it?
