1st Crash after weeks of playing

After weeks of playing the Beta AND Retail version, I finally decided to start the SP campaign. I play the compaign all the way to the mission where you and Von Clausen attack the base in the mine field in Rheinland and I get a wierd video bug and a lockup. I updated my video drivers, loaded from autosave and it happened again. I am using a GeForce 4200. It is odd that I went this far without any problems. If I reinstall, will it remember my SP and MP saves?

As long as you have it not delete your saves you should be good.

What video drivers are you running from nVidia?

My Geforce drivers show 6.14.01.4345, I just updated my media player and installed a driver patch from creative for my SB Live Value. I hope this updates my codec as someone suggested in another post. After doing this it still gives me problems. its always during the battle.

Don't get the newest nVidia drivers. Other people that updated to 43.45 have had CTD's so I suggest sticking with 41.09 or 40.72 WHQL.
