How well will this run Freelancer?

Alright, I just got a new computer last Friday and the first game I'm getting to commemorate the occasion is Freelancer. Here are the specs:

Intel Pentium 2.4 Ghz Processor
512 DDR RAM
80 GB HD Space (@7200 rpm)
*Intel Extreme Graphics AGP (putting in 32MB Geforce 2MX)
15" LCD Samsung Monitor
Microsoft Optical Mouse
Win XP
Integrated Soundmax Sound (putting in Sound Blaster Live!)

I was wondering how you guys think this will run? I know the video card isn't the best but I hope to upgrade it within the next month... Thx in advance!

That should run it fairly well. I have the exact same specs as you except for the graphics card. I have a Radeon 9000 and it runs everything at max graphics settings with no problem.

Hell Yae, I have a 1.7GHz P4 w/512 SDram and a Radeon 9700pro and it can run max settings at 1600X1200X32 with anti-aliasing on no prob.

Why are you buying a Geforce 2 MX? That's an *extremely* old card, and it being 32MB makes it even worse. Get a GeForce 3 at least if you want to play this game at an acceptable framerate and resolution, other than that your system is perfect.

I dont know why you guys with 1.5 ghz prosessors or higher are too worried how well the game will run.

My specs are: 500 mhz, 256 mb ram, ATI Rage Fury Max 64mb ram, Sound Blaster Live 5.1 sound card.

I have no porblems what so ever running the game. The only problems I have encountered yet was in the last missions and some in MP. But the MP problem is just lag related to that server.

So stop worrying about big enough specs.
