Connection to global server

I seem not to be able to connect to the global server !
What I take multiplayer, internet I get connecting to global server, but nothing more !
It keeps connecting !
help ?

Maybe you should read the topics on this forum more. I know, this forum lacks an serach function, but use ALT-F instead. Some people have this problem. Some possible solutions:

- reinstall directx 9
- reinstall windows
- reinstall freelancer
- more solutions etc etc.

But! This did NOT solve my priblems. My ISP is blocking UDP ports, the ports DirectPlay (component of directx) uses. So your ISP could be doing the same thing :/

The install of directx 9.0 did it !
Now I can kill some friends :d :d
