An annoying problem thats driving me nuts with sound

Ok so when im in game the sound will quit on me, it will just stop randomly outa no where and i have to restart comp to get sound back from entire comp. Which Audio Codecs do i need? Heres a list of codecs under Control Panel and Multimedia under the hardware/devices tab currently:
Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec(advanced)
Lernout & Hauspie CODECs
Microsoft IMA ADPCM CODEC
Microsoft ADPCM CODEC
Microsoft GSM 6.10 Audio CODEC
Microsoft CCITT G.711 A-Law and u-Law CODEC
DSP Group TrueSpeech(TM) Software CODEC
Microsoft G.723.1 CODEC
Indeo(R) Audio Software
Windows Media Audio
Sipro Lab Telecom ACELP.net audio codec
Microsoft Network audio CODEC
Voxware Audio CODECs
Microsoft PCM Converter
Which Should I remove? Which do I need? Which dont I need?

i didnt get this prob but i know someone who did and they had to uninstall all codecs they reinstall the game

lemme now how it goes i will ask my friend if that doesnt work

It fixed all my audio issues.

I didn't have to uninstall/reinstall the game, I ran the repair option which pretty much does the same thing.

My first post here but I would like to say thanks for that info, that fixed a lot fo hassle I was having with the beginning of the game.
Sometimes I had voices and other times I didn't, it was very annoying to say the least.

And also i couldn't pass mission 3 because of the no sound thing.

I greatly appreciate people taking time to post this info for everyone.
