Does such a bug exist?

Player level 38 flying a Starcracker. I asked him how he got such a huge amount of cash and he said he got it from a friend who sold H-Fuel to a base and due to a bug got a huge amount of money from that.

This pretty much sounds unbelievable to me. What do you think about this?

Even if it did, using bugs is still cheating.

Considering that you can make a million credits an hour just trading normally, I don't see why anyone would bother cheating. Cash is a non-issue in this game, due to its poorly balanced, primitive economic "model" (although I hessitate to call something completely static a "model"
