Yeah, I think it went down about 45 minutes to an hour ago, IE 5PM Pacific time. too bad, cause I had JUST got a new ship and was gonna give it a go =)

Yes, the Elite Freelancer Server application crashed for the second time in a few days. We will do our best to keep it up and running, but it is important to realize that it is still running a beta version of the product.

Details and reports have been sent to the appropriate people, and stability will contiue to improve over time.

I'll be the first to say this, the server software is still kind of in a testing "environment", only the testing is public now.

On the Elite and TLR servers, you'll notice there are email addresses listed in the "server news" as you log in for providing feedback. Please, take the time to send info to us. We look at every single one of them and if we have any questions, we'll ask in a reply. Provide as much information as you can. Don't just say "lag was good or bad" give some details on time of day, what you were doing, where you were (what system), what type of connection you were using, what sort of problem you had and anything else that would be of some help.

We appreciated all your help. This will definitely have an impact on the stability of the MP servers in genreal.
