true, although wouldn't there be any computer AI spaceship in that corner of the galaxy who will try to defend their territory? Of course, it wouldn't be much fun to have a band of pirate to attack one of liberty's planet or station if there aren't human defending it.
Although, if we go on, these events could be planned. I mean, if TLR regular's all choose a faction(group or clan), we could organised "RPG" event, where let say pirate group will try to attack liberty station 9. Of course, lag issue could be a problem, so those events could be plan with a number of specific players involved.
I don't know what tools the admin will have in their hand, if they will be capable to run a "story" within the game. We could easily make one without any modification to the game and just play according to what we want to do, while respecting the rules and universe already establish in the game.
As for Password protected server, I am not necessarly against it, and it could be great indeed to insure that TLR regulars are sure to join, but I'd be the first one to be sad about it if I were not to be considered worthy enough to get the password.
Also, let say you are a regular, but you log on the server and there are only like 5 people playing. If the server was open, it could free some space for other players to play on the server.
Now that I think about it, maybe we could put a password on busy hours or when there are official TLR events happening on the server and remove the password on off hours times ?
