there is support for trading goods or money between players, and there is a chatsystem.

so if you want to put a bounty on a player, you could write a chat message to everyone, and then pay the person who kills the guy...

This should be moved to the right forum
But how could you know who killed the guy?

Ummm, I'm thinking that they just won't like you a whole lot and will attack you when they see you...and you won't be able to land at their stations or pllanets...

Bounty Hunters should be comin to get you once in a while as well, i think. I havent done enuff pirating to tell.

This also opens up a new advantage to the guy on the wrong side of the blade, sa for example you put a bounty on a player, a hunter goes out and finds the guy, the guy decides to give him a lump of money, half before and half after, and the hunter goes and tells the poster of the bounty that hes dead, he gets his share, and goes back to the victim, get the second share (he could shoot him afterwards aswell, which can pose a problem, but just a though anyway)

I don't think placing bounties on human players will actually do anything in MP. So they get killed once. It won't really punish them, they'll just respawn and get back to their business.

Unless you stalk the "mark" see what he's hauling (if it's a cargo runner that stiffed someone on a escort deal, etc etc) wait for them to load up on some REAL expensive cargo and then decided to approach them! Now they have A LOT to loose!
