It varies. Sometimes we've been out in the middle of nowhere and an armored transport of all things will pull up behind us and scan all of us, and other times we will be in the middle of a dozen police above Manhattan and have just one ship scanned.

Contraband is dangerous you know, if the cops find you with it they'll ask you to drop it, and if you dont they will do anything in their power to kill you.

Another note, if you have dropped your cargo, DO NOT tractor it again or blow it up, this especialy pisses of the cops

Hehe, well, i would first play a assassin or Bounty Hunter of some type, afterwards i would probably make some sort of Drug Cartel Ship, keeping the galaxy under a fat, healthy flow of cardamine, light arms, among other things

Been lurking about here for a bit. I was a HUGE Privateer fan and have been waiting for years for this game.

One question....Privateer had the "secret compartment" you could buy to get a small amount of contriband past a scan. Does FL have anything like that?

How bout some led shielding then? ah?

From what i've heard the only items you can purchase for your ship are weapons, shield and AB upgrades (am i right?). I think Privateer had alot more upgrades you could buy. But the secret compartment would just make FL easy. Stock up on contraband, since you can't be scanned, even the pirates would leave you alone

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness at Tan Hauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. Time to die.
