I can't seem to find any npc's when I create my own server. What can I do?

The Ioncross datafiles for Frontierspace (or any other mods) should be copied into the:
Program Files\IONCROSS Freelancer Server Operator mk.V.1folder.
You will need to delete any other multiplayer server details and start flserver before running Ioncross. Then it should work fine.

When you get the server up and running, feel free to post on the Frontierspace developers thread. All of the servers running the mod are listed in the thread topic.

Yep, each server keeps a list of players and Character names for THAT server only.. So theoretically, if you have a common name in mind there could be several servers with a character by that name already, none by the same player..

I tried configureing my firewall to allow freelancer and it has been put into the exceptions list and is allowed but still i am getting the same message on top right which says "Connecting to global server"

im running a server, but i got a new better PC, and i want to use it as a server, but im afraid to loose all the account in the ol one, how i can move this data base for the new one ? do i need a program to do it? where i can get it??

I've been playing freelancer for years i love it and i want to play it online but it's too hard and long to earn money and levels in multiplayer. Can sb. send me his save games ???

@Corsair_Starkiller:

Copy the folder called Multiplayer in My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts from the old computer to the new one.

This transfers all multiplayer data from the old server to the new server and is transparent to anyone who plays on your server.

Hello all.Im having a small problem with IONCROSS Freelancer Server Operator.
When i log in on my server i click update players.It shows my name on the server with rank ? and it says "PLAYER NOt FOUND

".I looked in error log and it says something about failure to encode account file ...Please help me fix this problem.

Hello

I need some help with Freelancer MP
it always says that internet games are availibale but in fact there are no servers to
conect to.
I tried to disable my Firewall and adding freelancer to the extations of windows firewall but nothing seems to work.

can you help me please?

Have you got two firewalls running? If so, get rid of the windows one (turn it off) and trust your main one.

If it kind of "freezes" at the server listing, saying they're available but not listing any - then it's your firewall, as FL can't connect to the net.

Try re-permissioning your Freelancer.exe file once more, or alt-tabbing out an see if a warning about internet access is up.
