What to do about Cheaters who stalk other players...?

Just got off of the jolt.co.uk server before i put my fist through my screen.

After getting blown up with 1 shot twice by the same guy so he could steal my last shipment of a decent value in Kepler & Galeleo I was starting to get a bit peeved.

I was flying a gold shipment in a Humpback from Dublin to New Berlin, I had spent every credet I had on the gold (250 units) made it all the way to Bonn Station in New Berlin relitivly safely, Out of nowhere Bonn Station opens fire on something, then i see the same guy on my scanners, with 3 others a bit further away & before i can even move 1 shot hits me from one of them (they were still in cruse) (they had been kicked multiple times for cheating in the last hour, all of there names have [R (double square brackets) before the name)
a single blaster shot from a ship still in cruse hits me & i'm space dust.

I had Full Shields & Full Armour, & now I have "0" Credets & a Empty Humpback....

*Looks for something to Break!!!*

yah I know, kindof just venting i guess...

Why some people insist on using cheats online I dont know,all tye do is ruin it for everone else, That's why Earth & Beyond shut down.

Drop by PitchBlack 24/7 and I'll give you a humpback with 2million credits and a full load of cardi. If you have a screen shot of your other accounts send them to me and I will duplicate them.

I dont feel it is fair if a cheater ever does wipe you out, on our server we refund any lost cargo/equipment destroyed by cheaters.

And If a cheater does get on, we have a little server party that everyone attends to watch the cheater get camped. They usually last half an hour or so....

LOL, sounds like fun.
That's the way Cheaters should be treated.

Ahhh, Versoth! If it were only 100% then every sysadmin would use it! Nevertheless it does cut down on the script kiddie type hackers and possibly the cheater Zedicus encountered.

Played that same server again yesterday btw & found out a few things.
those three go from system to system shooting everything and around 5PM GMT the server admin strangely made many of the pirate factions practicaly invencable, saved up & traded the Humpback for a Falcon which I equipped with the best stuff i could find, which wasnt much better than stock as the admin had also disabled most equipment over class 7 from being sold, was Just entering New Tokyo with it & 3 Hogosha took me down in about 5 seconds flat.

the fact that i can make it through the SP story in a Patriot proves i'm atleast a decent pilot, so I'm thinking there may be something fishy about that server...

lvl 8 weapon restriction is Reputation limited NOT edited by an admin, your last reply sadly points to the problem, i.e. lack of knowledge on your part.

That server is heavily RPG orientated, so unless you have protection you will be hunted by those using the Pirate tags or worse Rouge tags, but if you had read the server forum and the rules and server info contained therein you would know that wouldn't you.

So PVP between players can last a staggering 2 seconds, long eh? Now the server in question has fewer NPC's to help with server load and lag but they have better weapons, so every encounter is dangerous. So the NPC's are harder when there none else about to tax/mug.

Jolt has reduced NPC, but NPC have been adjusted to make them more of a challenge, this means better RPG and more mission cash

They mean seem a bit UBER to new players but to experienced gamers they give something more to the game as the standard NPC`s are just too easy to kill

on a few of the severs i have visted looking for clan meambers i found one were theres a clan hunts cheaters. its cool to hear them scream but icant o well it looks cool any way. the admin gave them an accont that has uber weps so they cant loose. its grate to see a cheater get smashed so badly then get camped for some time.
