how save account ID

I have duall bot windows 2000/ XP and freelancer run fine with all online characters on win 2000 but after i installed it on XP i cant get the online characters, and i have copy the backup (D:\Documents and Settings\yy\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer) and also i put the ID ACCOUNT in registry- HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Microsoft Games/Freelancer1.0.

Or need more things to do for get the online characters? Or cant because is about same computer... but are 2 different operating systems...

Uh, from what I understand you installed Freelancer on Windows 2000 and it ran fine. Then you installed it on Windows XP and you can't get your online characters. And this is on a dual operating system computer thingie. Well, if you want to have your online characters on the XP system, you need to go into Freelancer folder in the start menu and go to 'examine account ID', this is on your Windows 2000 installation. Write or print out the ID. Uninstall/delete Freelancer on the XP system and reinstall it again. Then when it asks for an account ID when you connect to multiplayer, put in the ID you took from the other system. Make sure you write down both account ID numbers.
