Why do you play on the server you play on?
This question is for current FL MP players but any FL MP players may answer.
So why? I realize trying to get an increasing share of a shrinking market is tough but this is how FL MP server admining is.
As a sysadmin it is important to me to recognize as many draws as possible to encourage players to play (and stay!) on my server. I have garnered several reasons but am looking further afield beyond Boston's community. I have also been around for quite a while and IMO have seen some excellent servers die while others I wouldn't touch continue to succeed. I still wonder why.
The opinions to be expressed here need not apply to a particular and/or named server, although that is fine as long as it's not insulting. I encourage a generalized discussion to result in a majority list of enticing things a sysadmin can do to draw (and keep!) more players on their server. Viva la Freelancer!
