You can join the RPG as a [TDR. With our upgraded AI you will need to run a little faster, with the upgraded trade lane defense system you will have to make sure you are not hostile with any faction, And all of our RPG pirates and Mercenaries like chasing thier targets through several systems.

Well I just started a new trade faction(clan) on the Asgard RPG. You would have to download a mod, but its worth it. Baene and Tooth have done an excelent job on Asgard so far, and are about to release Asgard v2 in the next week or so. It will have transport ships(large freighters), and Captial size freighters(very expensive) also. I looks to be very exciting. If you need more information you can email me at [email protected]

we have a completely new and redone economy which can change with the mod patches.
we have new commodities for all "raw"-materials as mining was redone.
you can follow the material from the asteroids to the final "products" and make cash every step.

we will have a completely new market for the train pods soon. trains wont have huge cargospaces as in most other mods, but be able to mount and carry the cargopods. those pods will have a new and very profitable market. there will be several cargopods to trade with.
the nice thing is that you can visually see what a train carries. you can also blow the pods off.
the prototype of this already works 100%. with one of the next patches this will be part of the mod. (with all the 5 trains and transports, maybe also a modified CSV that can drag a single pod).

right now we have 4 small freighters for the newbies so they can work they way up to the house freighters. we have the CSV and AT in the mod and soon also black_lightning's Goliath will be in the mod as well.

Captain Tylor! Hello! Thought you disappeared. Glad to see you back! Come to my server, we're still going strong. We have our share of PvPers but there are tougher NPC's now due to our new mod. It certainly will give you a run for your money if you try to take on anything larger than you!

Feel free to peruse the exact details of the mod here to get a feel of what to expect. If you start an RPG character expect some interaction (read as PvP) from other RPGers so consider starting a freelancer character first (read as no RPG tags) to reduce that chance. Hope to see you around!

I've been looking for a server that trades as well. I'm not that good in dogfights but can manage myself well in a clash with a pirate or two. I've always enjoyed the biz side of Freelancer. So, I'll be looking in on this topic for lines on some trader-servers...
