Server help anyone? PLease?

Alright, here's the deal: I wanted to set up a server... but surprise! There is no such thing as a "Create Server" button in the Multiplayer section... either I'm really blind and I'm missing something, either I'm really dumb and forgot to install a file...

freelancer is not like other games. to run a server you need to plan ahead by a lot and you need a powerfull computer to support the server and all the other security settings and stuff and still have no lag. I dont really want to explain this, but if one of the moderators could creat a sticky called, guide to running a server or something with links and kool hints.

Just go into the microsoft games/freelancer folder in your start menu.

There is a shortcut called FLServer

Just click that, set a few options and your set

While it is true to that run a popular server with many players you need a powerful computer, a statdard desktop will work just fine for friends and family.

still, if you're going to run a server, I dont think you want ppl hacking it, so having a security plan and everything would be a great idea. How about a sticky admins?

Thanks guys... but, as usual, found out the solution to my problem right after I posted! Anyway, I set a server for 16 people, but I'm only expecting one of my friends on it. As for the security issues, it WOULD be nice to have a sticky about that...
