Help for a new pilot

Just about to start playing this game online. Can anyone give me any tips for playing online?

Just apply the skills you got from single player, that's assuming you played through the campaign.

that, or just stay around the new york system until you can get a defender, and then move to bretonia, and follow the storyline path (like where you went in the storyline) and upgrade your ship as you go, getting the heavy fighter from all the houses, and then start gaining ties with either the corsairs, or the outcasts.

find someone willing to group with to show you the basic tricks of FL online.

1. best way to start a character
2. quick docking System Gates / Trade Lanes / Planet Rings
3. Engine kill combat

There are others but thats enough for your first lesson.
