for stable server - load SDK or 1.1 patch first?

New to running a server, and I'd like to give it every chance possible at stability. Does it matter which order you load the SDK and the official MS Patch 1.1?

Am I assuming correct you experienced admins recommend using both?

Thanks for the feedback

Actually I never "load" the SDK. All the SDK is (please correct me if I am wrong ) is all the ini files decrypted. Since there is no difference to flserver it makes no difference whether one or the other is in the game directories.

What I do is leave the original files and keep the SDK files nearby. Then when I need to modify them (for server-side mods of course) I start with an SDK file because it's unencrypted. I rename the original becuase you never know when you may have to retrace your steps.

If you do install both, it shouldn't matter as long as the SDK are files from a patched version of a FL server install.

Always install before patch if you want to. However, it won't make one jot of difference to a server.

It can'rt hurt!! From the SDK description:

"Its purpose is to make things easier for mod makers to get started with projects without having to mess with bini. Also this release fixes a few million errors in the original files, these normally would not cause problems but it helps with the stability of your mod project."

That last bit sounds good!

um I think the SDK allows multiplayer players to go up to level 100. When I was running a server(most likely run another one later) and ididn't have the patch, I hav 900 mil and I was only level 38. But when I installed it, I went higher.
