*sigh* lets start here..do you have your computer on 24/7?
if so, do u have an ethernet connection?

if the answer to the above questions were yes then u can just download IonCross Server Operator mkIII.1 - Joe Boomz

i dont think it is possible for som1 else to run your server

@Pinger

Right from the web site...

VNC doesn't seem to work properly with Windows XP
VNC will work with XP provided that Fast User Switching and Remote Administration are not used. Windows XP uses the Terminal Services system to implement Fast User Switching and Remote Administration. This is not compatible with the current release of VNC, but will be supported better in a future release.

Um. that's exactly what my post above yours referred to. So if you're already using the Terminal Services of Windows XP, then what's the purpose of adding a secondary program that uses that very mstsc command??? I mean what exactly is the advantage here of using VCN? Educate me please.

not everyone uses XP so that is Point 1
Point 2 see Point 1

Education done, thanks Pinger. Let me add that remote access is not confined to Windows XP only tho.

See there then
See here

I guess what it boils down to is Windows XP makes it extremely easy to create the remote access without use of secondary software. Doing this in previous Windows versions just takes a little work, but can still be done without the use of secondary software.

well in my servers case it is 3rd party utility anyway as its on win2k Server and that is what the ISP tech gives as the only option. I could have full access via VPN but they dont allow that except for there techs.
