Hey Earendil, FYI your website is very testy when it comes to allowing me to surf to it. Something about a connection error?

Stinger, yeah. Since the weekend I have had problems connecting to the MySQL db the forums use. It says there is a problem with the config.php file but that is bogus. My host's MySQL server is screwing up and I already sent them a heads up. Seems like they finally fixed it, there are no more problems (currently).

I also was helping out some players. The short of it is I messed up some files and FLSO became cranky crashing once in a while. With the Event ID 1000 error which I get sometimes half a dozen times a day to once every three days (and it seems no one in the entire universe gets), it becomes a recipe for disaster. So Sunday night FLSO crashed, then flserver crashed, the forums acting up - basically nothing worked right that night.

I certainly heard about it in the forums! Seems like all is fixed now (except for the pesky Event ID 1000 error).

is it me? or is there somthing wrong with global, i can only see the server list, rest is kinda empty

ANd I have also noticed that it lists one of my servers ,rawserver , as being down.

Sorry chaps, bug got into my code and broke the global rankings. But, it's been fixed and is working properly now...

hmm by the looks its back again, you got the unkillable cockroach bug that Joe has as well.

There should be somthing incorperated in ioncross so we can get as many servers as possible to take part in this. Then they really would be global rankings!

I've added another new feature: Click on the name of a server, and you can view the top characters on that server, even if that server is offline. Characters sorted by both Kills and Rank, as usual.

hmm yeah came it back about 4pm and forgot to edit my last post to refelct that. But your site was having problems when I checked from around 10am - 3pm today 10th march

global rankings just dont show pvp kills. and for people who pvp everyday this would be far and beyond the AI kills. for top clans if a clan has servived for a year and another clan for 1 month, why does the other clan for 1 month is above the clan that has servived for a year? if there were only a way to count pvp kills and i think the longer the clan has lived is the top clan. even a 5 member clan has been seen winning wars against overwhelming odds. just some thoughts thanks.

This is true but non-negotiable. FL does not keep track anywhere PvP kills. If it did I am sure Cryogenius would have included them in his stats.
