One side effect of the updated FLstats pill for admins. If you have cheat checker ships you can nolonger hide them, I now have to install FL on my other PC to use them as anyone can see what ships I have linked to my UserID account on my server. But not a big issue just a minor pain.

Hmm... perhaps I'll consider removing that feature then. At least one other person has made a similar comment.

Or allow folders to be exempt from the stats generation? Then all the admin has to do is look up his/her player folder name and put it in your ini file and you'd skip it. It's an extra couple lines of code and an easy solution

Pinger, I haven't seen what you say. You say the characters are linked by account but where in Cryogenius' FLStats pages are you seeing that? It may be that I have something like 8 or 9 characters on my account but play them rarely enough. The FLStats page that Cryogenius' software takes his data from is a page I generate every two hours of those who have been on in the last two days so it's possible these other characters of mine rarely show.

Nevertheless it would be nice to exempt sysadmin accounts to allow for cheater checkers and other hidden characters for whatever reason.

According to the Character Info screen, Earendil on Boston has one other character, and apparently 3 characters called Shark on other servers... is this a bug? Hmm, perhaps I should go away and read up on how the filenames get generated, as I'm not convinced it's reliable.

Anyone else noticed odd things?

well cryo all mine show as I use them all before the cut off period for the stats limit, in my output page its 30 days. So if I had characters not used for 31 or more days I'd expect them not to show.

@Cryogenius, that definently isn't me on the other servers! I have a few Earendil characters on a other servers but never have had a Shark character. By the way I just found out how to see one character and see how it lists all the characters with that account. Yeah, not good. For whatever reason sysadmins like to be anonymous.

I think that I shall remove the links to "Characters with same name on other servers", as it appears to be buggy. I shall also remove the links to "Other characters on the same server", only showing how many other characters there are. I'll keep the totals for that account though.

*bump* More servers have been added, and more improvements have been made, especially on the "Server List" page, which now shows almost real-time status for each server.
