server for PvP only ?!

hey

I wonder if there is a server that for fast imadiate PvP or teamVteam.
many times I get tired of the stuiped AI of the game and I want to find players who want to play against another players and do not waste time on traveling trading and getting better ships better guns more money ..

something like Quake just Frag!

why no one make a server not moded if possible just for PvP my idea and image is like this:

all players starts on battleships in the same system (like Osiris) they all get Anubis and 500k they got to choese there weapens and then go to fight other players coming from another corners of the same system {of course there is no docking} they play count kills when its over simply every body moves to another system starting again ..

this will make the game more balanced, so you wont have old player have titan while beginers got defender ..

how to make it on the regular version?
first its all about server regulations put the right rules like no PvP in NY or libery
give the player at start some money 50k for example.

the player should get a ship from NY and then go to a system that choesen by the Admin for PvP for example Alaska and the out come should be player fighting while using defender.

* the server restarts every 30 minutes to prevent players from obtaining hight level ships.

so when ever anyone wnat to test his skills he just join this server if he want to use other ships he could join moded servers or just build up from 0 in regular MP.

I am sorry if there is servers or mods for this, I was not able to find any( I am only 2 weeks in MP).

There's already a mod that creates a deathmatch system for pvp insanity. Look it up cause it's in the downloads section, and really adds lots to the type of server you're asking about.

Problem with an exclusive pvp server, if that's all you can do there, what else do you have to look forward to? Also what if there's no other players around or they're not interested in fighting you? Being a Freelancer means having options, and I'd rather have other distractions around. Maybe some choice encounters that I can test myself against would be fun. A few nomad battleships maybe, or about 10 nomad fighters with the strongest lasers equipped.

Plus there's always a balancing issue. If a player knows how to get 1mil in an hour, they'll do it, buy their fighter and weapons of choice, then lay to waste on everyone else. When a battle starts, will there be a ref present? Will the server's web page post who the best fighter is? And let's not forget about the occasional cheater that rears their ugly head.

On my server, I host pvp contests in the system that has the planet of the apes. no loot from the asteroids worth the trouble, nomads are made friendly, and ALL accounts are backed up and them moved to another folder so that I can choose the ships the players will end up using. Since they're all on planet primus, they can't purchase weapons or shields, so that more or less forces them to duel on equal terms with each other. I always try to give a variety of weapons for their blasting amusement, usually two main types of guns and the two shield types that are most affected by them. Almost makes it a game of chess. Do I equip these guns that're good against graviton, or against molecular shields? That's my best solution for a pvp server with server side mods. As for my shameless advertisement, the next contest on my server will be pvp dueling.

One more thing. On the more popular servers out there, they regularly hold pvp contests. If you wanna battle it out with others, try to find out when those contests take place. You really don't need one server that's devoted to pvp. most server hosts (me included) wouldn't bother dedicating a server to just player dueling.
