All server searchers, go to Browclopsia. Elite is dying, and Browclopsia is at the moment the most used and successful server around. With great clans, elite players, originized pirating and more, Browclopsia's where it's at. So stop searching and head on over. I assure you the Fringe Raiders will give you a warm (very warm) welcome.

yeah, i've got a character there, but it gets boring when there are only 5 to 10 people online. so I rarely goto this server anymore. maybe it's because i'm a euroboy but there aren't that many people there.

i went looking for it in the server list last night when i found it there were no players on hence didnt try it

Hehe! I know the empty server feeling. Mostly east coast of the US, some west coast and some Europeans play my server. But when I check the server up to five times a day, I notice in the morning, 7 to 8 AM EST, it is all but deserted (0 -2 players). Too early in the US for all but hardcore gamers, not quite after work for most European gamers and have yet to see any steady player from the far east. But I think FL MP numbers will slowly but steadily decline as people move on and fewer newbies take their place. I also think in proportion to the players flservers are declining faster. So attracting players to servers will be a matter of who can hold out the longest.

Elite has over 7000 players so it will be interesting to see if server numbers jump when it goes down. Mine does whenever Elite was down for a few days in the past. But maybe not this time as all the players I see on Elite are all newbies/unknowns. As I said time will tell

If we didn't have 5 servers per active player and every clan wanting to start their own server, then we wouldn't be so spread out and playing alone. The number of active players has decreased tremedously, so it would be great if we could decide on a small number of servers to play on, so we arn't SP on MP servers.

I think we should do a vote of some sort on TLR to help us consolidate to a smaller number of servers. We probably only need 3 servers to get by now. Being so spread out makes the game die even faster as fewer are having MP fun. I vote Browclopsia.

i vote Boston Freelancer server and browclopsia. These (apart from Argonia-Station and elite) are the only servers i play on.

Brow, Fiik, IonCross.

Elite was supposed to have gone down months ago.. I still have 5 characters there.

I don't know if there are a lot less players, or a lot more servers. Probably a combination of the two. Eventually things will settle down as deserted servers start shutting down.. those things aren't free you know...

Brow has been a ghost town lately, but I and other active freelancers have had MUCH fun flying there. I would like to see more folks set up some characters on Brow, and check in on the forums. As soon as my comp is rebuilt (monday 10/20) I will be flying on Brow again.

...even if the server is empty, by the time you get yourself set up hopefully more pilots will follow suit.

I know there are at least two clans recruiting on Brow also.

The other one is the GOV clan. We have become very small and inactive, partly due to my inablility to play often. I don't know if there are any other active clans on the server.

Reg, you are forgetting about the 'Raiders. I only mention it because they are probably the largest and most active clan on Brow.
