Hertic, open your DXDIAG >> under DPlay check to see if everything ok. There are some good posts about this problem on TLR, or here on our private forum.

err i already installed directx9b...and i've been able to connect and play some time now.


to answer your question, i used to use mods, i dont anymore, unless i need to, but anyway i was and still am known to pk newbies (its for target practice, honest, starfliers are damn agile) and stuff. I do admit on the old AC2 I used to use cloak and terrorize people (funny reactions) but i do not do that anymore. Though i still like my rep, seeing as it pisses a lot of people off. anyway before i enter a server i normally have 1 or 2 names before i make my 666Heretic account. Be advised.

Yeah, I thought Microsoft might have banned you from the Global Server for excessive modding. Guess not.

btw microsoft can't ban anyone from excessive modding because when you buy the game there is a disclaimer saying "anything you do to your game is your own buisness, same goes with servers" basiclly they are disowning you and your game if u screw it up when not modding properly.

could someone help me,

ive been playing freelancer for ages with a 56K modem (which is pretty sad), and ive had no problems until about 1 month ago. i went on the PC and all my stuff i deleted off my desktop was back. i went on freelancer and it worked fine, but then a couple of days later it started lagging. now when i connect to a server, i make a new account, and start on manhatten. im fine, but as soon as i launch the server kicks me due to lag. "the connection to this server cannot be astablished due to internet problems, please try again later" IT REALLY PISSES ME OFF.
