Ok heres my problem: new server running for 6 hours. Computer connected to the server crashes, I click "kick account" on the server so the computer can log back in. Computer logs back in and now it can't see its character file plus the server has given it a new account ID. I cut/paste the character file into the new account and the computer is good to go. Log another computer onto the server it too has a new ID and can't see its old character files. The server is running the 1.1 patch thingy, and hasn't had this problem before but its only been running for 2 days or so with downtime of a few hours a day cuz I'm to lazy to dedicate it. Any ideas what happened? or is the randomly assigned new id a handy feature that sucks.
