multiplayer code

I had some problems with my computer, so i had to reinstall windows, with windows the computer deleted the registry files of freelancer.
so i reinstalled freelancer, only now i cannt log on to my MP account :S

somebody know how to get the code for the multiplayer account

I could be rude and say seach the forums, but really you'll have to get in touch with one of the admins of one of the servers where you've played, give him the name of one or two of the characters you were using there, he may be able to search the player files to find your mp id#. Once you get that number write that sucker down, as you've seen, you never know when you might need it again.

thats why i keep a copy of all my MP files on a floppy disk

i dont need to do that, cus mine just automatically saves it even if i uninstall Fl.. it keeps the thing in memory for when i reinstall it

But how? When I take a look at the "Manage Accounts & Characters" window from my server I can c an account#, but thatz NOT the actually account ID pilotz wrote doen when they installed FL........

I just looked up up my MP Account ID.
Then I went to the server and looked up my account on the server.
These numbers/IDs are NOT the same.............
Doez thiz mean ther iz NO way of retreiving a MP Account ID from the server??
