Forum to close soon if flaming does not disappear!

Anybody lately looked up how the Knights fought a couple of hundred years ago? Like those Lancers?

In other words - respect each other - if not I'll not put bandwidth up for these kinds of attacks. Sorry...

Best Regards

He makes a damn good point. This forum has turned into a flame war for no reason.

If you don't like a clan why don't you keep it to your own clan forums, instead of posting it here. There is no way to get around it because frankly people are stupid. Yep even me. It was Socrates who said that only the gods had divine wisdom. But wise people were the ones who knew they didn't know everything.

Slightly off-track so getting back, this place can exist perfectly well if there is a no flame policy, ENFORCED BY ALL. We all agree and understand that flaming is pointless. If someone who is new starts a flame war, you back out of it. It is hard to do but it is the right thing to do.

So can we all try this please otherwise the forum will undoubtedly be removed and those of us who are not into flaming will have one less place to hang out and talk about Freelancer Online.

I know I have been a culprit in these flames so I will be taking extra care not to flame. (Please by all means quote me on this.)

Come, Bargib, let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater, shall we? the flamers are minority, although very vocal. Why not simply ban them? surgical defense like this is much preferable to closing the forums.

Just my humble opinion

*cough* how very democratic *cough*

I would love to see that happen tough, as NEO would have to get banned too

(nice flame bait btw m8)

Cams, the type if poeple like you screw up the fun for everyone else. I hope you change the way you behave.

Consider this a official warning.

Just to clear things up, TLR is not a democracy. No web community truly is.

EXCUSE ME?

My gameplay and everyones is spoiled by bullies like NEO and im not entitled to complain about it? Keep quiet and let them get away with it? Now im the trouble maker?

On a side note, a discussion forum for a specific comunity should be close to democratic standarts, if not then its doomed to previlege a part of a comunity and ostracizing the other, and thats one way ticket to wreck the forum popularity on the global comunity point of view

If a ban is the price i have to pay to expose all this crap you are covering, so shall it be

The privelage to complain here was taken away when that privelage was abused over and over. You're still free to talk to the admins, or even speak with other players on Elite directly. That, I think, would be far more effective.

Crap we are covering? What crap should we be covering? WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO COVER! WE ARE NO PART OF NEO!

Bargib, pull the plug of this disgusting mulitplayer forum (leave the rest open). I'm fed up with it. Everyone who has participated in this argument (that is NEO and all others: thank for spoiling other ones people fun!
