Unable to connect to elite...at all

Despite Elite's player creation being on today, I cannot connect to Elite. Same old "your account aint valid ha ha ha" error message (something like that

)...yet i have never been there...so why would they _ban_ me? O_O unless of course their serv infos wrong and they returned the server to no-accounts-again. Can anyone who doesnt have a pilot on Elite yet verify this error tonight?

Last update I got was that its off for a little while till we weed out the cheaters that got in while the door was open last time. I could be wrong though as I havent been very active on the server lately.
