stuck in dock -- fix

I don't know if anyone has ever had this happen.. or if this issue has already been covered in another posting, but I was in the process of launching from a station when freelancer crashed on me. When I got back in the game, I was trapped in the dock tube with no way out. If anyone else ever runs into this freakness, all you have to do is click anywhere in the tube and select dock.. it'll open up the door.. then you can either return to free flight and escape or re-dock. Weird. I took a screenshot of my Titan trapped like a mouse if anyone is interested.

Even more weird happend to me. I traped once inside the station. You can really see whats in side.
but yeah its happens

it doesnt always work if the station becomes hostile you can be in trouble
the only way i escaped was to die
the only way to do that was cruise and start jetisoning things (which drops the shields) i know this is extreme but ive twice had it happen to me and luckily i had botts and batts to drop (managed to get most back on respawn)
but when dock didnt work it was a bit worrying
anyone else had this more extreme form a the problem ?

tried that one as well
even changed server and went back later there was always a hostile about to make the neutral base hostile

Mr. BlitzRaven was thinking of having an event inside of a dock. Two players would go in there and duel while inside the dock. Kinda funny. Whenever I am stuck in a dock, it is usually on purpose. You can drop mines or go in cruise to kill yourself or you can dock with the station to open the door.

Maybe you could ask someone else to open a dock for you

This happened to me once in SP. I think you have to either have to wait for someone to come along, try to dock and attempt to escape or let your autopilot take control and redock with the station.

I've got stuck somehow between the docking tube and the outer wall of Leon Base. Got flat up against it and launched torps to blow myself up.

Note: If you just leave the server and come back, you will return in exactly the same position as when you left, which doesn't help. You have to die and respawn to end up back safely inside a base.

i had the same problem, F1 fix that. not right away, you need to reselect couple times your char

Regulator: Dueling in Docks IS possible. All someone must do is blow up Kyoto Base to 3x its normal size and resize the asteroid exclusions in Chugoku accordingly hahahahahaha
