Freelancer Mod Manager is a hack

Well today at my server Freeport 3, some dude named I_am_a_modder joined and guess what he abuses? He abuses the FLMM by using Ion Thrusters, and Cruise 3000 along with the uber shields with a hole arsenal of hacks from that damn program, I demand that Lancers Reactor removes the download from the website until they change this because it is now considered a cheating program.

It is not cheating if used in Single Player and mod-allowable servers. On 'clean' servers, however, they are scum. Still, we cannot deny it to all just because it has been abused by some.

You do not ban the selling of kitchen knives just because they have been known to be used in stabbing people, do you?

Man i am with you. But cheating is easy even without this program and this is not really A program anyway.
How about remove all cheats? How about wipping all the Modding threads? Will never happen. The poor souls that cheat whould do it even if they whouldnt have this lil proggy.

btw there is differnce between cheating and modding. see verb cheat.

FLMM is not for cheaters, but for players that like to play on modded servers and non-modded servers alike. It is a great tool for the game, because it makes it so that more people can freely flow between being modded and non-modded.

FLMM also makes it easier for players to de-mod, so they aren't tempted to go on non-modded servers with mods on. It may even decrease the amount of cheaters on a server, since some may not know how to de-mod on their own.

Like kitchen knives, FLMM does good more often then it causes harm.
