Tip for MP newbies.
Figure i give them a starting out strategy.
If you want to get a new ship right off the bat go get a patriot. But heres what you do.
Transfer the shield that comes with the patriot to the dealer, it's the same shield u get witht he starflier, but you can sell it for more than a few hundred.
Sell all of your shield batteries. You wont need em, they are poinntless to me, shields can regenerate, hulls cant.
Then when your dont with that, re mount the shield before you buy (not the one you just sold, the original shield you have) then buy the ship.
after that go to the equiptment dealer and buy w justice mk 1. They fire fast and is good for energy saving.
Then if you have money left buy a cargo hold full of water. If you have enough money, stock up on nanobots.
Then go trade some water to pittsburg (buy at manhatten for 15 and sell at pittsburg for 30. It doubles how much you spent buying it.). Then do some missions, you shouldnt have too much trouble, you can out maneuver any pirate with a patriot. Just keep shooting that little crosehair thats always on the enemy.
If you want to keep your rep up with the system AND you want to get freindly with everyone else. there here is what you should do.
If you want to stay friendly with bounty hunters and all of new york, but get friendly with the other pirates, kill xenos.
If u want to get friendly with xenos and everyone else and stay friendly with new york, kill bounty hunters.
If you just want to piss off manhatten kill everything in site.
But dont sit there like an idiot blasting transports, that's a good way to die. Instead start picking off a few people out of site of stations like in a field or in the middle of no where. If you are fighting in a patriot and all of a sudden a dozen more enemies pop out of nowhere. Run. You will not survive long. Not even expirianced players can survive a huge swarm of pissed off people.
Rochester is a good place to sell cardamine without getting scanned. Though it only sells a lil less than on manhatten, it's still the second best price in all of sirius. (after manhatten of course)
