You cant use your SP character online.

Online is just the same as SP, just missing the story line/Juni/King etc. But make of it what you want with in the rules of the server you play on.

CTF DM etc, it's not evolved that far yet.

As for dock camping, its just someone sitting in space waiting for you to leave a dock and shooting you when your vunerable, ie no skill.

Getting shot at from the off, can be but most servers now have the standard rule of atleast no PvP in New York, some have it to extended to the whole of Liberty space.

I Have a problem playing on my own LAN server,
i cant find it on the contact list
anyone know why i cant find it on my contact list?

*shrug* you might try checking the filter and making sure you can see LAN Games, otherwise I couldn't tell you.

so my problem is: everytime i start my own server - my reps are all neutral!!!
its good if i want to trade: none is shooting at me (mosty ... ), but i want to buy a better canon and for that "i have to be on friendlier terms..."

and after restart i am neutral as before....

These are actually good questions. Pinger summed it up really, but what i wanted to add is this.

You can obtain small plots via the missions. But with MP, it is my belief that the plot is generated by the players. Which means that each server is as good as the players that regularly participate.

I play on "** uk server **", where the administrator is all in favour of players adding depth to the whole experience by coming up with new ideas. We currently have clans on-line, although this is fairly new. Clans can be intimidating, but that depends on the guys that belong to it. They can also be good fun.

We also have bounty hunting, which for me is a great laugh.

By and large, we don't sit well with players who intimidate and bully others, but as i say, on some servers anything goes.

It's up to you. Give one a go. If you don't like it, vote with your feet (or mouse finger).
