Seeing that I used to tell ppl making MP posts in Spoilers to please move to the MP forum,
I guess I won't be doing _that_ anymore. Now I see why they put e'm there.

Thought about it, and as is my habit I'll make a recommendation.

There really needs to be two Multiplayer Forums.

One for gameplay issues and helpful info, a technical forum.

One for role-play and clan recruitment type stuff, a non-technical forum.

Oh, and remove the Spoiler warning. How can you spoil MP, which has no storyline?

We have a single forum designated for spoilers. I think you're missing the point of it though. Visitors do not want to be cruising through a MP forum only to run across a massive spoiler, thus the sticky. It shall remain. Keep the ideas coming, but feel free to post them in the site suggestions forum.

Lots of stuff in MP is unique. Obviously, if a Lvl38 SP (me) can have problems 1st time MP.
Don't want to look for a needle (MP) in a haystack (SP) in other forums.

This is the flaming forum. This is where clans come to flame other clans or players to flame other players.

But why do clans have to flame other clans on a public forum. Go do it at your own clan forums afterall that is what they are there for.

I know this is an old post but it brings up current points.

Flame wars are pointless like so many people have said. I agree with Frobozz that a clan forum made just for clan flaming (if there must be any) and recruitment and clan news should be seperate from MP help and MP ideas and so on.

Much flaming happening here has to do with the administration on elite, and its biased position with some clans (not mentioning the N word), lots of folks (or minority) feels unhappy because stinger and atakaka treats some players in a royally previledged way, and others in a rather ill manner. Since stinger is a moderator here, this forum has become an elite PR forum on an unnoficial way.

Lots of good folks out there are unhappy, persons like me express their unhapiness in a rather polite way, sure when someone makes a complain and is totally insulted by others (again not mentioning the N.. word), and as patience is not a quality that everyone has, flaming is responded with more flaming, but make no mistake, dont turn the victims or "complainers" as the flamers and the cause of this issue here.

The cause of this issue everyone knows what it is, yes we could all deal with this resorting to common sense and good will, unfortunelly i dont see clans considering in changing some of their ways for the better whole, and i dont see the clans victims very eager to having their gaming spoiled due to a group of adolescents imposing their own version of good gaming, that destroys the comunity good gaming experience.

Regarding expressing complains on each clan forum... ever bothered checking complain foruns? a person complains, gets insulted, humiliated, stomped, crushed, and as if that isnt enough, the person gets banned; again its up to the clans to solve this or make it better.

The bottom line here is, everyone has to make concessions, even the all powerfull clans, and the victims, everyone must sacrifice a bit for a better whole (in this case the comunity) im willing to sacrifice (giving the clans a chance, in hope of seying some mature behaiviour on their part and some changes), are you?

I agree that Elite is sort of affiliated with TLR, but this site is totally independent of what happens on Elite. This site is mainly my site, and Stinger has been and still is a great help on the multiplayer aspects of Freelancer and on how to run a server.

The problem here is that this forum is NOT FOR FLAMING or discussing who is best, but rather on how to valiantly set up a battle or agree to make a comon expedition.

Since these things can not be achived, I'm seriously considering closing this OR ANY OTHER forum, where the flame-wars will go over to.

So let NEO be NEO, OWL be OWL and Anti-Neo be Anti-Neo and whatever... I do not care, and I don't want it here...

Another good point FLJ. There is no mandatory attendance to TLR. This is not a school, or the army. You are free to come and go as you please. But, at the moment a few individuals are pulling the TLR down into a deep dark hole.

This needs to stop, and stop soon otherwise TLR itself might close because the admins have had enough.

Moby you managed to joke with Tasiin in your last thread that got closed, why cant you do that all the time. And Tasiin you knew what he was trying to say, so come on stop being literal(sp?).

This is the place to hang out and chill, everyone is neutral to everyone. You opinions of other TLR members is not welcome here unless its nice.

Remember If you cant say something nice dont say anything at all.
