Is dock raping bad, yes if you don''t try

has anyone successfully dock raped me, no unless they were using a long range super mod fast shooting gun. There should be no reason you can be dock raped unless you just sit there and do nothing, you have about a half second window to move your butt before you can actually take damage, so be on the fly, yes they may severly damage you but they will need ALOT of people to seriously get you. 3 people should not be able to dock rape you, it would take 4 realy good people or 5+ sucky people. so if there are 3 people or less i would say the person who can't get out successfully is lacking reaction to evade the attackes. Now i can see this if you just don't have the xp.

Here are some tips

before you completely undock, reselect your character by pressing F1, new character, by the time they begin assaulting you, you'll have disapeared a moment throwing their shots off then reappearing to get out and do something.

If you don't do this you need to be hitting space bar like a mad man and be ready to thruster immediately. They may almost kill you but that's better than nothing. A living target is still a dangerous target.

My point is, i see lots of whinning about dock raping, there are ways around it and you guys out there shouldn't let yourself become fustrated and victimized afterall it is just a game.

Why couldn't it have been stated this simply when the whole issue was begun??

It is a game, after all. He who tries the hardest, wins. Whining about dock camping on the forum will give humor relief to those doing it, but not much more than that. Get over it, then get 'em back (just NOT with the tactics we're all sick of hearing about, if you please).

If you whine and complain about getting camped, it will only cause you to be further camped. In NEO, we will generally give you chances to go free... The tolls generally start somewhat low, but increase if you mindlessly insult us.
NEO has a list, if we camp you and you pay without complaining too much, you will be listed as someone who is "protected", and will thus be left alone.

I agree people its a game wake up. there are other servers out there even a carebear server for all you whiners if you dont like it and your too weak to do anyting ,and to fight back it then goto another server.

you could always avoid the areas where its happening. you would go walking around in the Bad part of town at nite would you.(ok the stupid people might but thats a differnt story)

well not just the whinning but there *are* ways to prevent it, but then your fighting skills will really be important as you'll be attacked by ALOT of people, but if you win, you can glote even more

I'm sure pepole whit fighting skills can fight their way out but lets talk about dock raping a humback, its like reaping a fat chick and lots of pepole seem to do it and even like it.

Fangling with F1 --> New Character and all that is manipulating the game. It shouldn't be necessary.

Dock camping a freighter IS like raping a fat chick.

And

A half-second is all one VHF needs to take on a Dromedary.. and blow it to smithereens with one or two shots.

Sitting behind the exit-side of the docking ring also makes it ueber easy to destroy even another VHF in a matter of seconds. 1st step- lay ripper mines. 2nd step, place finger on torpedo button. 3rd step, fire like a madman once said target spawns.

One doesn't need a gang to gang-rape a camped target. Even the best of players can get screwed EZ by campers.
