I think the closed, stickey'd thread at the top of the list in this forum is a very clear evidence that the admins on Elite are (ironically) in no spirit of gaming at the moment. The PVP status of Elite appears to be hanging by but a few remaining strands of tolerance, and I urge everyone to please not agitate the administrators any further. Apparently we have disturbed them enough as it is, and I'd like it very much if we could all go easy on them for a while. Not only am I talking about dock-camping complaints, but the inability of this unintelligible community to even sit down and compromise over something as simple as public gaming policy after 53 posts is absolutely laughable and they do not have to deal with us if they don't want to. Yes, Elite is a public server, but this server is private property, so I ask that you please respect the server and the authorities of the server accordingly, because I enjoy playing on it, and I enjoy PVP.

While I'm sure you meant no harm, Quantum, user accounts such as CONSOLE are much more irregular and noticeable than other clients, and are bound to eventually provoke an administrative reaction. I hate to single people out, but let this be a message to everyone. Don't piss them off. Not only are these recent disaccords with the admins making prospective gaming in the future seem bleak, but this irrational bickering (on everyone's part) is giving us the wrong ideas of people who I'm sure are generally good people at heart (unless you know any assholes by nature who choose to donate entire servers to people who have thus far proven themselves to be unappreciative pricks). So please, I ask again, let's try to be civil and cooperative on the forums. I understand how difficult that may be for some people, but patience is a virtue, as I often say. Let's all, at least for now, try to all act like cultivated human beings here, and take our virtual violence elsewhere.
