more on dock camping

just so you know,
if there is hostile AI ships outside of a base that you docked at, they will attack you and often kill you as you undock, and they don't wait for you to exit the cutscene before opening fire..

why should hostile players have to?
if you're going to encounter hostile players in XYZ system, don't be STUPID and dock at a base they're hanging out at. it's like docking at freeport 9 when the bounty hunters hate you, and you dont have a HF or better. you just dont do it!

many a time i have launched to space and ended up with no shields by the time i get control of my ship. i've even been camped before myself. so use some bats, hit the thruster, and quit wasting your time flaming. you wouldnt flame the AI players would you?

You're worse than Tasiin. You are actually trying to justify the use of the most cowardly tactic in the game. Quite being a wuss and let your enemy player undock and fight them head on.

b) i do fight fair, and I win.

WUSSes are the people who can't handle avoiding or dealing with a situation as the one described, and can go play on a non pvp server, where they will then sitll be OWNED by the AI.

i dont advocate firing upon someone who is in the cutscene, but i advocate non-stupidity. how hard is it to hit your thruster, use a shield battery or two, and kill the person who dock camped you on the way out. A and D keys straff btw. for those of you that just cant seem to evade some fire.

There is a massively huge tactical difference between 1-6 hostile NPC's firing at you as you come out into space than the same amount of live pilots dock camping you. NPC's aren't near as talented as any live pilot with the balls to attempt to dock camp someone. If you're going to attempt to draw a comparison make it at least somewhat believeable. Sheesh!

yeah, the ai pilots are even worse, because the ai is able to know at the exact instant the player comes out, and doesn't have to look at their "radar"

That's all and fine if you are dealing with ONE fvcking camper. but when dealing with an entire clan or a group of bullies, it is next to impossible to "use a shield battery or two" and expect to live. Stupid a-hole.
