Yes it does work. I've killed at least one person this way.

CoolDude: Did you "click" to target the torpedo, as you would a normal ship? You DO have to lead your shots just as if it's a normal kill, only much more accurate as they are obviously much smaller targets.

I did test my theory on some NPC Rogues last night (who just LOVE to drop mines when you're on their six) and yeah, it works rather well in fact. It's just damned hard to destroy said munitions while the enemy in question is still within the blast radius.

Nice tactic Joe, I usually take the head on approach when im attacking a lot of NPCs and just keep strafing by guns across all 5 or 6 of them, i usually blow up there missiles or torps they fire from range and do them some damage

I'm still practicing it Dark, but I'm hoping it will help out against other players....I remember all too well getting hit by a load of munitions and turning into shrapnel in seconds a few nights ago *LOL* I'm hoping to use this in duels, maybe take a few guys out with their own weapons and earn some well deserved bragging rights...

How's things with NoTec? From the posts here and what I can see online, quite a bit of the riffraff has been/is being disposed of.

I managed to get the cartoon-y 'run from missil, run to enemy, cut up, missil hits enemy . The best tactic though is facing the missil head on, thhen cucking when it gets close
