How do I manually add servers for mp?

I've read the readme and I'm still not clear on how to manually add servers for mp. I've also searched this forum and unless I'm completely blind, (which is possible =P) I haven't found anything which explains it any better.

Same as for CS/Quake etc you edit the desktop icon startup options.

Make a copy of the icon, then right click on it, choose properties, then in Target add the server IP AND port number it uses.

so it looks something like this:

C:\GAMES\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe -s131.107.83.10:992

Then when you start FL look in Lan for them.
