List server???
Hi there
I am experiencing problems running a Freelancer server. Please note that I am not currently on a
network, but I would expect one to be able to create a Freelancer server without being part of a
network...
When I start FLServer I do the following:
Give server a name
Give server a description
No password
16 people can play
Allow new players
Allow players to harm other players
After clicking OK it displays ....LOADING.... as server name for a couple of seconds and once the server
has loaded I can see the server name. Every thing would seem to be in order but if I change my view to
Console I see the following:
.
. all kinds of loading messages with [ok as result
.
Starting logic thread...
Server running, ready for log in.
and the the following is repeated:
Connecting to list server...
Failed to make connection to list server...
If I then start the game and look for LAN servers I cannot find my own server (duh).
Can anyone perhaps help me with this problem?
I do not have a firewall installed. Except Microsofts excuse for a firewall in my dial up connection's
settings which is enabled.
My system:
[email protected]
512MB DDR333 RAM
GeForce 4 Ti 4200
etc.
May the force be with you.
