Those are the only definites, I'll do an in depth check as soon as possible, and make sure to notify them all that NEO are friendly and are not to be attacked. If you guys get attacked by any one of these, take it as a given that it was not run by me beforehand or I would have not given permission to do it.

Z0p, friend? I don't even know who that guy was. I'm sorry I attecked you, but I could've sworn you shot first. Maybe you were shooting him, and missed, hitting me? I don't know, but after he killed you, he killed me as well.

I never attack anyone unless they attack me first (or I think they did, lol) or unless they've attacked me before.

And FYI, I don't attack ANYONE, it's suicide unless it's some trader or a lower level player... but I leave everyone alone anyway.

Oh, and you think we RES guys should put some sort of tag on our names? We'd have to make it look different since we aren't exactly a clan... maybe "Cooldude[RES " (The board is being a dumb****, won't put the second bracket after RES in.)

I kinda like not having a tag in our names, it feels a lot looser than any on-line organization I've been in before. I feel very free to say I'd rather kill Xenos than run a mission, or do my own trade runs etc, and I think some of that would go away if we used a tag. Personally I haven't had problems being shot at by NEO or any other clan, so I don't see the need for such things. But on the otherhand if you guys decide to make it mandatory it's nothing I'd leave RES over.

Actually, i was looking to hire an escort earlier on today and i thought of RES... but because i didn't know they were in RES, i didn't ask stikfas or holliday. if you guys used tags, it'd be easier for your target market to get in touch with you... just a thought.

We have another member : genjaguar. Also, we got Havok his Valkyrie, so in a few days he should be fully equipped to escort.

So... are we using tags or not?

This is excellent. The MP is truly alive with bad guys and good guys. Wars will be fought and won and lost. This is what make FL such a great game. One must be careful for unlawful characters. I know it's not cool to get blown away but that's what bounty hunters are for.

Maybe you should, would make it a lot easier to identify you.

It's not really that dramatic Nat, clan "wars" mostly involve childish flaming and occasional, loose skirmishes.

Just to make an already cloudy issue even more opaque I am a freelancer in every sense of the word. I am very strongly allied with RES and they do call on me frequently when they need a bit of heavy metal. I also support any clan or individual that looks out for the welfare of the weaker player. I consider everyone on the server to be my friend until they prove otherwise. Out of the 1500 or so kills I have only one is another player. He fired on me and I gave him every opportunity to move on. When he pressed the issue I finished it and then I left. Afterward I made sure there were no hard feelings and we have no problems with each other now. So if you happen to pass through a system I am in you have nothing to fear, unless of course you are hauling nubile young virgins and then all bets are off. Diamonds and gold I already have.

HEAR HEAR NAT! Oh ya! This is getting me so wrilde(word....?) up! These clan wars seem like one of the best things I can think of in freelancer... Now what you need is orginized battles faught in the farthest reaches of the Omicrons... that'll do, no?
