hello,

i heard somwhere that you can download mod's
but
1) what is a mod ?
2) where can i download them ?

1. a mod is short for modification. some mods do as much as adding whole new ships and new weapons, while some will only make changes as to where ships are sold and their prices. and some eliminate all SP campaign missions and allow the jump gates to be accessed right off the bat.

A mod is also something that will crash a server in MP
