MP ID Number

My MP ID number does not show up in any of the specified places. Where could I find or get this ID number so I can play multiplayer?

I quote the readme (since I am lazy to try this on my own):

Freelancer includes a utility for retrieving your ID. The utility is myflaccountid.hta and it can be found in the Freelancer\exe directory within your install folder or you can run this file from the Start\Programs\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\Examine My Account ID shortcut.

that is one of the places i looked, where thID number should be it said "<NOT FOUND>"

Wait a minute, you have created a multi account right? You don't need to have one to play. IIRC, the game creates one for you when you start playing MP.

I haven't created any account involving Multiplayer. The first screen that came up when i tried using the multiplayer option in the main menu in the game was the one that said my ID number was shown below. But it was not.

run>regedit>hkey_current_user/software/microsoft/microsoft games/freelancer/1.0/installkey (change the ID number in this key)
