Just saw the funniest hack ever

This guy shows up in orbit of Manhatten flying a Nomad Battlecruiser, daring us to attack.

After I got killed soloing against it, I got 4 people together to take it on, and blew it up!

I havn't had this much fun in MP in awhile! We need pilotable battleships!

I would imagine slowly and carefully. With big shields. I think battleships would be an amazing idea, especially if you could have friends join as a gunner or two while you fly.

If the pc can navigate asteroids I bet I can.

That same hack showed up on a server I was on. Lagged the hell out of everyone on it. Dude could regenerate hull @ will, and could hide inside a suns corona where no one could get to it. Total gheyness. Its crapola like that which will drive every server to be passworded.

u can fly nomad battleships on the babylon5 server aswell.

only problem is that u cant dock with anything at all, cause its just too damn big!

and flying to a (dense) asteroid field is virtually impossible.
i got stuck between those asteroids and couldnt free myself

Yesterday I was on a server where two guys had Liberty Cruisers. It was quite amusing to seem them duke it out, cruiser vs. cruiser. My spectating was quickly ended once I flew down the main gun of one of the cruisers just as the dude fired like 20 shots

This tard lagged the server I play on with a Nomad BS. Now it crashes as much as the Elite server did. Next thing you know those smacktard NEO dimwitts will show up and start their cheating gayness too.

Um, NEO didn't cheat, they just played ALOT smarter than you. They had a plan, and worked together to achieve specific goals. Anyone could have done it. No one else thought of it and did it. Doesn't make us cheaters because you are not that bright.

Well from a role play standpoint I could see thier use. Sysop could man a battleship and head into Liberty or something. Force all the noobs to band together and fight it. Could be a hoot. but a question or two..

1.) How the hell is it accomplished tho? Can you pilot a cruiser through simple INI manipulation?

2.) would maipulation of the files on the server not allow people to join that server or would they have no problems?
