Derelic ships not dropping stuff

Posting in MP cause I've only had this happen in MP

Most of the time I get to a derelic, shoot it, and it drops nothing, whats up with that?

So fi someone has beat me to the ship, thats it, it never respawns it's gear no matter how long ago ti was taken?

No, if a derelict ship doesnt have anything, everything respawns in 1 week exactly (7 days) and dont tell me im wrong, i have tested it on 6-7 derelicts and several supply depots, 1 week and the stuff is back, enjoy

Some derelict ships don't drop anything at all in the first place. So if you never get anything, it's probably because it's not a dropping stuff derelict.

Their illogical pride is a handicap on their life expectancy

i was on a server where someone guided me to a derelict ship
he said he got 20 cardamine from it
i died due to enemies so flew over there again, shot it and it dropped 20 cardamine again

I have only been lucky enough to get nomad drops in mp, but I have found a set of diamondbacks and a set of onyx in single player, so hopefully I'll go and find these in mp in the exact same spot..

that's if I ever find a server that's fo reeeel=/
