turrent gun only fire when u push V key to change the view.

You're kidding...I can only use it in Turret mode?

Oh well...I guess it's not like I need it. But on the Defender it worked all the time, even in normal view.

some ships have the turrets facing backwards.. like my titan, it points backwards, so i cant shoot things in front of me with it.. sabres turrets can fire 360 degrees though.

Turrets will only fire if they can phisically point where your mouse pointer is. I have a Titan and the turret won't fire when i'm shooting in front of me. Have you noticed that in turret mode it's not only the turret who fires: it's all the weapons that can be fired at that time (provided you haven't disabled them in your "group weapons" of course).

Eagle turrets can only fire backwards or sharply off to the left or right. Sorry, but that's just how it is.

hate to sound slightly sarcatic but yeah, a turret will onyl fire in turret mode if it doesn't point to where your mouse is. eagle can't fire up or forward as it's mounted under tail pointing back... however, I find it useful if you are docking to a trade lane or what have you and some idiot is pounding away. gives you a good chance to make him break off the attack if you have a good turret, he'll sod off from just sitting behind you and hopefully you've gone when he realigns.

it's worth having but don't expect to fry as much as with diamondback
