What level are you Cayman?

my level is a 33 right now but i have been as high as 35 when i have fought them. someone told me that i might be over powering them, my guns blow up the weapons as they drop them. im going to down grade my weapons (i have high power 10s and 9s) to like 8s and 7s. ill see if this works late tonight and post what happens.

i dun think thats it, i used nomad blasters to kill more nomads and i still got drops, and i saw this guy that had the nomad LASER, how is that possible?

he probably got the lasers because he is cheating. i tried the over powering theory and it didnt hold water. im trying my last theory in that i need to complete sp before i can get nomads.

youre destroing the drops because your guns have diff speed probably, make sure all have same speed(range doesnt matter) and same refire. This makes all your guns to shoot at the same location and simultaneously. Corsairs sell weps with similiar stats as lvl 10 guns

I'm having the same problem. when i first got in the area i managed to get one nomad gun from them. after that it no longer matters how many i kill i just dont get any drops.
i unmounted the nomad gun incase its a speed thing destroying the drops and i was being careful with the last shot not to over do it so as to not blow up any possible drops but nothing.

maybe there's a trick to it? maybe there's a bug and it works for some but not for others? this is so fustrating.

I have a feeling you must be a certain level (36? 38?) to get the Nomads. I have always gotten them fairly easily. 4 - 12 kills usually produced 2 - 4 Nomad guns using any type of weapon, but I have been trying for days with my level 35 character and got ZERO drops of any kind.

you are right Hand Solo, you need to be at least lvl 34 (i think) for nomads to drop weapons. I hope that helps guys

I have a level 35 character and I got nomad weapons, no problem. About 1 out of 4 dropped a weapon (this was in omnicron gamma by the wormhole). I got 4 blasters and 1 cannon, then i had to go back. I was using 4 l10 guns and 2 l8 guns.

uhhh no kozmo....i'm lvl 33(before the wipe anyway ), i had 3 blasters and 1 cannon, killed around 20 nomads

I use a Sabre with four nomad cannons and two wyrms. I fought my way to the unknown holes from Freeport 9 through Outcasts and Corsairs and back again to get these weapons.

Basically if you want to get Nomad cannons without bribing the Corsairs or the Hessians just to get a Level 10 fighter, go to Freeport 9 in Omega Theta, get an Eagle VHF. You would need to fight through the Corsairs and the Outcasts to get to either one of the two Unknown holes. But the one in Corsair space is easier because there is plenty of Bounty Hunters in the other side of the Omicron Gamma hole constantly fighting the Corsairs, whereas on the other side its just one big Outcast ambush against you.

I can't get any Lvl 10 guns whatsoever. And I'm level 35.

Must have to finish SP first.
