Particle emitters

I havent looked through the ini files myself yet, but have anyone found numbers relating to the visual effect of the engine particle emitters on the ships. ie. can i change the color value / strength of for example the afterburner?

Not positive about this but it looks like this stuff might be in the .ale file's in FX directory, maybe wrong though.
