Other mission types?

Can you make a "escort convoy" mission ? a deliver commodity to base mission?
a Hire Escorts (with negative pay and doods that follow you?

This has been discussed before and we had come to the point that mission types are hardcoded.

As far as I know, this is possible in multiplayer mode. For example, Evolved mod features scripted EVO-Missions, in 88Flak you can hire wingmen.
